He said we had a testcase for [Merged Pins]. Weston said he would check and see if there really was a new bug. Parser development: Mike LaBonte asked if Bob Ross would be drafting a requirements specification for a new IBISCHK 7.1.1 parser. Bob said he would do that when he found time. Bob described the IBISCHK development process. He said we would pad the development time estimate given to us. AR: Bob Ross to draft requirements document for IBISCHK 7.1.1 Future meeting logistics: Mike LaBonte said he planned to wind down his IBIS involvement, although he did not have a firm date to withdraw from IBIS Quality activities. He asked if Weston Beal could increase his involvement, and if the meeting time might be changed to help with that. Bob Ross said he could chair the meetings. We talked about the level of effort for someone to take minutes, agreeing that IBIS minutes in general were often much more detailed than they should be. IBIS quality checklist: Mike LaBonte felt it would be good for IBISCHK to optionally produce a checklist file noting the checks that could be performed manually. Weston Beal said he had done something like that, and that would put him in a good position to think about a new development. Bob Ross said some automated checks with tolerances could also be helpful. IBIS press: Bob Ross recommended the new book by Donald Telian, "Signal Integrity, In Practice: A Practical Handbook for Hardware, SI, FPGA & Layout Engineers", which discusses among other things the history of IBIS. Tabled topics (no discussion without motion): - IBISCHK security fixes Bob Ross moved moved to adjourn. Weston Beal seconded. Without objection the meeting ended.
